Steak Sandwiches - GF and Low FODMAP
All the travel
restrictions are reminding me it will be awhile before we can visit our favorite
restaurant and today, I’m craving their steak sandwich. Thanks to my partner at work, we have some
steaks on hand so I’m sending my husband out to the grill with the meat and
some red pears for a salad.
- Gluten free French bread baked according to package instructions
- Arugula tossed in fresh lemon juice (enough for the sandwiches and a side salad)
- Shaved parmesan cheese
- Steak grilled and salted to taste
- Optional sauce:
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of stone ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- Sea salt to taste
- Optional - grilled red pears for a side salad with the leftover arugula
