Pumpkin Flour Donuts
Happy Halloween! I made Ada help make her pumpkin donuts – she won’t be trick or treating this year so these will be her treat for Halloween - they are grain free, dairy free and do not have added sugar unless you add frosting like we did π.
No sprinkles were left behind in the making
of these donuts!
1/2 cup banana flour
from Hearthy Foods
1/2 cup kabocha pumpkin
flour (this is Japanese pumpkin which is low FODMAP)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking
soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of
cinnamon
1 teaspoon of
pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons of
olive oil
2 eggs
1 cup walnut milk (I
use Elmhurst brand)
Blend ingredients and
pour into greased donut pan
Bake at 325 for
about 12 minutes
Top with frosting (I
used Simple Mills vanilla) once cooled
