Creamy Lemon Basil Pasta Salad – GF & Low FODMAP

This pasta is sweet, salty, rich and crunchy - we had it as a side dish to grilled steaks - meat with a side of meat for Adam!



  • Quinoa noodles
  • Bacon
  • Sweet corn
  • Shredded cheese (I used a blend of parmesan, asiago, fontina & provolone)
  • Lemon
  • Fresh basil
  • Garlic infused olive oil
  • Sea salt

 

 

Cook and chop ½ pound of bacon

Cook corn and cut from cob

Make quinoa pasta, according to package instructions, in heavily salted water (I use Andean Dream brand noodles)

Drain and reserve some pasta water

Add shredded cheese to noodles with a drizzle of garlic infused olive oil and some pasta water as needed to make a sauce

Add juice and zest of half a lemon

Add the bacon, corn and fresh basil
