Olive Oil Gravy -Grain & Dairy Free

I’m trying out a GF and dairy free gravy using olive oil.  I made this one with bone broth but you could use veggie broth to make it vegan.

 


  • Whisk garlic infused olive oil and tapioca starch (roughly equal parts) over medium heat until combined (it will be a bit pasty)
  • Add bone broth one ladle at a time while whisking
  • Bring to a boil while whisking
  • Lower heat and continue whisking until desired consistency reached
  • Adjust seasonings (I used sea salt, thyme and sage)

 

Note: this works even better with butter for those that can tolerate dairy
