Election Day Cupcakes!

It’s election day – celebrate or drown your sorrows with a little sugar!

 

Box of GF yellow cake (I like King Arthur)

Ingredients needed for cake – see notes below on milk substitutes

Can of organic frosting (I use Simple Mills brand)

Blueberries, red berries and/or sprinkles

 

Note:  I never use regular milk but have found the walnut and hazelnut milk from Elmhurst to be a great substitute and it only has 2 ingredients: nuts and water - no gums, or emulsifiers like most coconut or almond milks
