Bread Bowl Salad Pizza

I really miss bread bowl salads so I decided to try out a salad on top of an Against the Grain brand pizza crust – it did not disappoint!

 

  • Grain free crust (what it lacks in grain it makes up for in dairy so don’t use this kind of crust if you avoid lactose - I do eat low FODMAP but I tolerate this well)
  • Salad mix (I used a blend of lettuce, carrots and cabbage)
  • Arugula microgreens
  • Honey mustard dressing (see below)
Bake crust according to package, combine lettuce and dressing, top crust with salad mix when done, garnish with microgreens

 

Honey Mustard Dressing

  • ·        3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • ·        1 tablespoon of stone ground mustard or Dijon
  • ·        1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ·        1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • ·        2 teaspoons of honey
  • ·        Sea salt to taste
