Mixed Berry Smoothie

 

I love smoothies!  I have one every day, it’s a great way for me to get my servings of fruits and vegetables.  I always add a scoop of plain collagen powder for some protein and a creamy texture without the dairy. I use the Hearthy Foods brand which is free from ascorbic acid.  I try to avoid synthetic vitamins when possible.

My favorite is the mixed berry blend of raspberries, cherries and strawberries topped with pumpkin seeds for some zinc.

 These also make great popsicles – I make them for my granddaughters as a “cleaner” frozen treat. 

 


  • Frozen organic fruit of choice
  • Seeds or nuts (optional)
  • Scoop of collagen powder
  • Splash of kombucha or water to blend

Blend until creamy!
