Mixed Berry Smoothie
I love
smoothies! I have one every day, it’s a
great way for me to get my servings of fruits and vegetables. I always add a scoop of plain collagen powder
for some protein and a creamy texture without the dairy. I use the Hearthy
Foods brand which is free from ascorbic acid. I try to avoid synthetic vitamins when possible.
My favorite is the
mixed berry blend of raspberries, cherries and strawberries topped with pumpkin seeds for some zinc.
- Frozen organic fruit of choice
- Seeds or nuts (optional)
- Scoop of collagen powder
- Splash of kombucha or water to blend
Blend until creamy!
